Arrive in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia and check in to the hotel of your choice:
The Traveller’s Inn: The hotel is located in the downtown core just minutes from shopping, restaurants and the inner harbour. The hotel has free satellite TV and movie channels, air-conditioned rooms, free local calls, a restaurant, lounge and heated outdoor pool.
The Executive House Hotel: Located in Victoria’s inner harbour district, this European Boutique-style hotel is one of the most popular hotels in Victoria. The hotel’s amenities include a spa, hot tub, restaurants, lounges, and much more. I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy your stay at the Executive House.
The Laurel Point Inn: Located on a park-like setting in the heart of Victoria’s inner harbour district, the Laurel Point Inn is one of the best hotels in Victoria. Each room has a water view and private balcony. The hotel’s amenities include a heated pool, hot tub, spa, business centre, restaurants, lounge, terrace & pond and much more. | Day 2: |
Head to the golf course for your first day of instruction.
- 8:45 - Intros, stretching and student bios
- 9:00 - Video of swings
- 9:15 - 3 vital concepts for a consistent swing
- 10:20 - Putting
- 12:00 - Lunch with instructor – Q & A
Play Arbutus Ridge Golf Club (Your preference of tee time.) Set atop a plateau overlooking the Gulf Islands and the surrounding waters of Georgia Strait, Arbutus Ridge is a great test of golf for all levels. Playing at just over 6100 yards, raw power is an advantage at this course but short game finesse is a necessity. Many of the greens have swales and tiers that require you to place the ball carefully with your second shot or a three-putt may be the result. |
| Day 3: |
Head to the golf course for your second day of instruction
- 8:45 - Stretching and stories from Day One
- 9:00 - Review of video and personalized swing instruction
- 11:00 - Short break
- 11:40 - Short Game Trouble Shots (high lobs, buried lies, etc.)
- 1:30 - Tee Off
Play Olympic View Golf Club (Your preference of tee time.). Voted as one of Canada’s top thirty-five courses, Olympic View is a challenging but absolutely beautiful course. With two waterfalls, tree-lined fairways and manicured grounds the score almost becomes unimportant at Olympic View. I’m sure you will love this challenging course. |
| Day 4: |
Head to the golf course for your third day of instruction
- 7:45 - Back 9 for two-hour playing lesson with instructor
- 9:45 - Stretching and stories from Day Two
- 10:00 - Full swing – Before and After video comparisons
- 11:15 - Long Game Shot Making (side hills, intentional curves, high and low, etc.)
- 11:45 - Practice Skills for maximum improvement
- 12:00 - Lunch with instructor
Play Olympic View Golf Club (Your preference of tee time.). You have played it once now it is time to see exactly what you can do on this incredible course. If you need something to shoot for try to do what Tiger Woods did when he played the course. Go driver, 5 iron and chip in for eagle on the 515 yard, par five 18th. Hey we can all dream!
Pick up your personal improvement reports and practice plan at the pro shop after your round. |
| Day 5: |
Play Bear Mountain Golf & Country Club (Your preference of tee time.). Designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus and his son Steve Nicklaus, Bear Mountain is destined to become one of the greatest courses in Canada. Set on the slopes of a wooded mountain the course takes golfers through forests, around rock bluffs, over lakes and streams and beside some of the most awe-inspiring scenery on the island. You are sure to enjoy your round at Bear Mountain!
