Getting there: Salmon Arm is five hours northeast of Vancouver, ninety minutes east of Kamloops and ninety minutes north of Kelowna. The nearest major airport is Kelowna International Airport which is serviced domestically by Air Canadaand WestJet and internationally by Alaska Airlines, Horizon Airways and other US carriers. The region can be reached by highway from all four points of the compass. The primary route from the coast is via Highway 5, the Coquihalla to Kamloops and then east on Highway 1 – the Trans Canada Highway.
