 The Okanagan Golf Club, tucked into the wooded hills above Kelowna, boasts two fantastic championship courses, The Quail Course and The Bear Course. Each course brings its own unique demands on your game. On the Bear Course, undulating, well-defended greens will mean that your short game will have to be sharp. On the Quail course, tree-lined, rolling fairways will put an emphasis on accuracy off the tee. Individually they are fantastic courses. Together they make for an incomparable double-header and a great part of any Okanagan golf vacation.
 A great example of the Bear Course variety of golf is the par four 15th hole. Ranging from 320 yards from the forward tees to 388 yards from the back tees, this straightforward, open par four lets you flex your driving muscles. Bombing the ball from the tee is not critical to setting yourself for a chance at birdie though. What is critical is that you have the right club in your hand when you go for the pin. The 15th green is smaller than most and is divided by a dramatic tier so finding the right level is an absolute must. Land the ball on the wrong level and you will either be looking at a challenging uphill putt with at least one break or a lightning fast downhill putt that will need a deft touch to hold the green.
