Just a quick note to let you know how much my wife and I enjoyed our brief stay in Victoria, BC. Much too short! First of all the hotel and spa was wonderful. On Thursday when I went to Olympic View GC she took advantage of the Spa for a massage. She loved it. Olympic View was very good but Bear Mountain…what can I say? It was more than I imagined. Exceptional course. I could go on and on about the course but it's the most scenic, challenging course I've played. The scenery and layout of the course was absolutely the best I've played. That includes Pebble Beach and Spyglass and some outstanding courses in Texas. On my birthday I followed your suggestion and made reservations at the IL Terrazzo Ristorante. This is without a doubt a 5 Star restaurant. They did not have venison but I had the Elk instead. Service, food and attention were all outstanding. On Sunday night the "SPLASH" was excellent and the 1812 Overture dramatic. Your service and itinerary were great. When we got back to Dallas at 6:45 pm Tuesday evening it was still 103 degrees F. I guess I'll have to call again next year and reserve two weeks or two months maybe. Anyway, as you can tell we had a great time and everything was splendid!!!!
