 Cordova Bay Golf Course is a relaxing and enjoyable round of golf on the south island. The fairways are open and forgiving and the greens are large and receptive. Cordova Bay does not offer the same unique Vancouver Island brand of golf as some of the other courses in Victoria but it is beautifully maintained and remains a favourite of the local golfers.
 A great example of Cordova Bay’s brand of golf is the 530 Yard par 5 seventh hole. With no trouble off the tee golfers can forget strategy and simply hit the ball as hard as possible. From that point it is a question of seeing what fate has left you. Long hitters will have to decide whether they want to risk carrying the water 60 yards short of the green. Mortal golfers will simply have to determine how to lay-up to their favourite yardage for their attack on the pin.
Regardless of your game, Cordova Bay Golf Course makes for a friendly, enjoyable round of golf and a nice addition to your Victoria Golf Vacation. |
